Tharina Botes wins Miss Universe Thailand 2026 crown
Bangkok representative Tharina Botes won the national title and will represent Thailand at the next Miss Universe pageant
Tharina Botes, representing Bangkok, was crowned Miss Universe Thailand 2026 on Sunday (August 23, 2026), earning the right to represent the country at the next Miss Universe pageant.
Botes secured the national title following her performance in the final question-and-answer round. She received the winner’s crown and sash and will enter an intensive training programme before competing internationally.
Botes will represent Thailand at the upcoming Miss Universe pageant.
Phuket and Udon Thani complete top three
The official results placed representatives from Phuket, Udon Thani, Chiang Mai and Ubon Ratchathani behind Botes. The English spellings follow the official Miss Universe Thailand contestant list.
- Miss Universe Thailand 2026: Tharina Botes — Bangkok
- First runner-up: Suttida Iadpoo — Phuket
- Second runner-up: Helena Sarakan — Udon Thani
- Third runner-up: Sasiwararin Atsawahirankarn — Chiang Mai
- Fourth runner-up: Manatsawee Nilbuala — Ubon Ratchathani
Swimsuit and national costume awards
Sasiwararin, the Chiang Mai representative, also received the Miss Best in Swimsuit award.
The Best National Costume category, which carried 30,000 baht in prize money, recognised four contestants:
- Patsornrangsiman Maharsarnlertpipat — Surat Thani: “Tosakan Maha-Ros Siam”
- Parichat Bunyuen — Phetchaburi: “THE GOLD MAJESTY: The Attire of Thai Desserts”
- Tharina Botes — Bangkok: “THAI TASTE: Siamese Cuisine”
- Phairin Srekaew — Uthai Thani: “PAD THAI THAILAND”
Botes will next begin preparations for her international role as Thailand’s Miss Universe representative.
