Add Carabao pledges 1m baht for Nene Royal's AGT final
Add says the personal cash gift will help cover travel and other costs as the Phuket guitarist prepares to resume the competition
Veteran Thai singer Add Carabao has pledged 1 million baht from his own funds to support Nene Royal’s return to America’s Got Talent, saying the money could help cover her travel and other competition expenses.
Nene secured a direct place in the final after judge Mel B awarded her a Live Show Golden Buzzer for her quarter-final performance.
Add announced the offer through his Add Bao Facebook account on Saturday (August 29, 2026), after Nene returned to Phuket on Friday evening to recharge before resuming the competition. Fans gathered to welcome her home.
“I would like to give you 1 million baht from my own money for travel and other expenses,” he wrote, adding that he hoped she would bring victory back for Thailand.
Add said Nene’s talent had inspired more Thai children to take an interest in music.
He had noticed more parents bringing their children and guitars backstage at his concerts to ask for autographs, a change he attributed to her growing popularity.
He described himself as another small source of encouragement and urged Nene to give everything in the final while representing her Thai supporters.
