Singha R-Sa deploys 4WDs and relief teams to flood-hit areas

Singha R-Sa has deployed high-clearance four-wheel-drive vehicles to deliver food and drinking water to evacuation centres in Bangkok, while mobilising rescue teams to assist flood victims in Sa Kaeo, Nakhon Nayok and Prachin Buri.

Although flooding in Bangkok has begun to ease, several areas still require urgent assistance, with some residents unable to leave their communities and others temporarily staying in evacuation centres.

Singha R-Sa, working with the Department of Disaster Prevention and Mitigation (DDPM) and the Narenthorn Emergency Medical Services Centre at Rajavithi Hospital, used high-clearance 4WD vehicles to transport drinking water and ready-to-eat meals throughout the day.

Supplies were delivered to evacuation centres at Sripruetta School and Kheha Chumchon Lat Krabang School to help residents affected by the flooding.

At the same time, Singha R-Sa’s nationwide rescue network mobilised teams within 24 hours to support flood victims in Sa Kaeo, Nakhon Nayok and Prachin Buri.

The organisation said it would continue monitoring the situation closely and assisting affected communities until flood conditions ease and impacted areas return to normal.
