
Thailand face China in the men’s volleyball quarter-finals at the 2026 Asian Games at 2pm Thai time on Thursday, October 1, with supporters able to follow the match on television, through an app or at a free big-screen viewing event in Nonthaburi.
Thailand, coached by Park Ki-won, advanced as Group B runners-up after collecting five points from three matches, with two victories and one defeat. The second-place finish earned Thailand a quarter-final meeting with China, who topped Group D.
Thailand captain Boonyarid “Fluke” Wongtorn called on supporters to back the team, stressing that the players would give their best regardless of their opponents.
“Whoever we face in the quarter-finals, we will do our best. I would like to ask Thai fans to support the men’s national volleyball team at these Asian Games,” Boonyarid said.
Fans in Thailand can watch the men’s volleyball quarter-final between Thailand and China free to air on PPTV HD 36. Live coverage will also be available through the AIS PLAY app, with the match starting at 2pm.
Supporters can watch Thailand’s quarter-final against China on a giant screen at MONO STUDIO on Chaiyaphruek Road in Nonthaburi, where the “GRAND SPORT: WATCH PARTY – ASIAN GAMES 2026” event offers free admission.
Doors at MONO STUDIO open at 1pm on October 1, an hour before the match begins. Fans attending the Thailand–China watch party can register in advance through PEEP SHARE or register at the venue as walk-in visitors.
