Huai Kha Khaeng Wildlife Sanctuary is opening seven designated locations to visitors for nature education from September 10, 2026, while keeping all nature trails and three ranger stations closed.
The sanctuary announced that the opening aims to encourage learning about ecosystems and conservation-based tourism. Visitors must strictly observe protected-area rules and follow instructions from officials.
Seven locations open to visitors
The designated locations are:
Thung Faek Ranger Station.
Huai Kha Khaeng Museum.
Nok Yung Wildlife Observation Tower.
Sueb Nakhasathien Memorial.
Huai Kha Khaeng Wildlife Sanctuary headquarters.
Thung Yai–Huai Kha Khaeng World Heritage exhibition.
Khrua Rim Than restaurant.
Nature trails and three ranger stations remain closed
The following areas remain closed to visitors:
All nature trails.
Sap Fa Pha Ranger Station.
Kapuk Kapiang Ranger Station.
Cyber Ranger Station.
The sanctuary asked visitors not to disturb wildlife or damage the natural environment, and to help preserve Huai Kha Khaeng’s forest and ecological richness.
