“100 Baht, Travel Across Thailand!”: Explore Thailand for less with TAT’s 100-baht vouchers

Thailand’s 100-baht tourism vouchers will target Thai travellers and foreign residents, with use restricted to trips from Monday to Thursday.

  • The Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) is launching the "100 Baht, Travel Across Thailand!" campaign, offering 100-baht tourism vouchers to Thai travellers and foreign residents.
  • Vouchers will be sold online through "SHOCK DEALS" events, with eight sales rounds scheduled on Tuesdays between December 15, 2026, and February 9, 2027.
  • To encourage weekday travel, the vouchers are only valid for use on trips taken from Monday to Thursday.

The Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) plans to offer tourism vouchers priced at 100 baht under a nationwide campaign running from December 15, 2026, to February 9, 2027, with voucher use restricted to travel from Monday to Thursday.

TAT governor Thapanee Kiatphaibool said the ““100 Baht, Travel Across Thailand!” campaign would encourage Thai travellers and foreign residents of Thailand to take more domestic trips during the week.

Tuesday voucher sales, Monday–Thursday travel

The campaign will combine special offers from tourism businesses with online voucher sales through two activities:

- Privileges and discounts: Participating operators will offer deals on tourism products and services.

- “SHOCK DEALS”: Online sales will offer tourism vouchers for 100 baht, with eight Tuesday sales rounds planned during the campaign. The vouchers will be valid for travel only from Monday to Thursday.

Thapanee said TAT would bring together quality tourism products and services from partners nationwide, using attractive offers to turn awareness of the campaign into purchases and actual travel.

TAT aims to shift some travel from holidays to weekdays, increase the use of tourism businesses during quieter periods and generate a continuing flow of income for destinations, communities and local economies nationwide.

More than 170 representatives join preparations

Thapanee said TAT was holding discussions with businesses to prepare the campaign. More than 170 representatives from government agencies, associations and private businesses joined the meeting, covering five categories:

- Accommodation

- Restaurants

- Activities and attractions

- Health and beauty

- Other tourism-related services

The meeting aimed to explain the project and prepare operators to participate, while strengthening cooperation between TAT and its partners.

Thapanee said the initiative reflected the idea that people could explore Thailand throughout the year’s 365 days, with offers designed to make weekday travel more appealing and spread tourism income more widely.
