True Partners with Faculty of Medicine, Thammasat University, Thammasat University Hospital, and EGG Digital to Advance Thailand’s Healthcare AI
Highlighting the establishment of the "Thammasat–True AI Health Innovation Hub" to bridge medical knowledge, data, and technology for pioneering medical service innovations, as well as upskilling students, university professors, and medical personnel in AI capabilities.
Bangkok, 7 August 2026 – True Corporation has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) for academic cooperation with the Faculty of Medicine, Thammasat University; Thammasat University Hospital; and EGG Digital. This strategic partnership integrates medical expertise, advanced technology, and digital solutions to drive Thailand’s Healthcare AI into reality. This effort includes the establishment of the “Thammasat–True AI Health Innovation Hub” as a national platform for medical AI collaboration, focusing on integrating health data with digital technologies and AI to enhance patient care, streamline administrative operations, and elevate healthcare quality across all dimensions. Furthermore, the partnership aims to build AI and Digital Health capabilities among students, faculty, and healthcare professionals through custom curricula co-developed with True Digital Academy, upskilling talent, advancing research, and accelerating practical AI-driven innovations that address real-world health challenges for the Thai population.
The MOU covers academic collaboration in research, education, workforce development, and the creation of medical innovations, tools, and advanced equipment. The cooperation is structured around six key pillars of AI, Data, and Intelligent Healthcare Transformation: 1) AI and digital technology upskilling to enhance capabilities for faculty, physicians, and staff across all levels at the Faculty of Medicine, Thammasat University, and Thammasat University Hospital; 2) Laying AI foundations and managing Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems for medical students, paving the way for future-ready physicians; 3) Medical AI research and innovation, integrating EMR data with EGG Digital’s expertise to create Health Score models and AI Clinical Intelligence systems for diagnosis, screening, risk assessment, and clinical decision support; 4) Establishment of the Thammasat–True AI Health Innovation Hub as a central platform for learning, research, health solutions development, and knowledge exchange; 5) Graduate curriculum development in Medical Digital Technology within the Faculty of Medicine, set to launch in academic year 2027; and 6) Translating research into real-world operational pilots and clinics while scaling sustainably under legal and ethical frameworks.
