Aura Wellness Unites 9 Leading Thai Entrepreneurs for "Aura Career Camp," Shaping Thailand's Next-Generation Workforce

A two-day intensive business camp selected 50 top students from over 1,000 applicants, offering them a firsthand look at the realities of the working world from entrepreneurs and executives — reinforcing that investing in people is the foundation of the country's long-term growth.

BANGKOK — Aura Wellness has launched its inaugural “Aura Career Camp,” convening nine of Thailand’s leading new-generation entrepreneurs to share real-world experience with university students and soon-to-be first jobbers preparing to enter the workforce. The initiative arrives at a moment when competition for quality talent intensifies each year — and when a growing number of Thailand’s brightest young people are weighing whether their future lies at home or abroad. Aura Wellness’s answer is direct: build the environment, the mentorship, and the career pathways that give the next generation a reason to grow their careers in Thailand.

The Talent Question: Why Thailand’s Next Generation Is Looking Abroad

As labour markets become increasingly borderless, many of Thailand’s high-potential young professionals are looking toward multinational employers or opportunities overseas — through study, scholarships, or work — in pursuit of a better quality of life and a clearer path to grow. Economists and international organizations have long documented this “brain drain” as a structural risk to a country’s long-term competitiveness. The real challenge, therefore, is no longer simply hiring talented people; it is creating an environment credible enough to convince young Thais that Thailand is a place where they can truly build a future.

For Gen Z in particular, the calculation is sharpened by a sense of limited local opportunity. When the most ambitious young people feel they must leave to advance, the cost is borne not by one company but by the country’s long-term growth. Reversing that logic begins with employers willing to treat young people as an investment rather than a cost.

A New Answer: Aura Wellness Invests in the Next Generation

Aura Career Camp was created on a simple conviction: giving young people the chance to learn from the real business world before they enter the job market is one of the most valuable long-term investments an organization can make. The initiative is sponsored by Aura Wellness’s leadership, including Chief Executive Officer Fame Jetbodin Prakoonsuksaphan and Chief Marketing Officer Bream Pornkamol Petdasada, who framed the camp not as a recruitment exercise but as a contribution to the wider talent ecosystem.

The result is a free, two-day intensive business camp. Its 50 participants were selected from more than 1,000 applicants nationwide — among the most capable students from leading Thai universities — in a deliberate effort to help the country’s best and brightest go further, at home.

A Learning Platform With 9 Leading Entrepreneurs and World-Class Consultants

The camp's centrepiece was a gathering of some of Thailand's most closely watched young business founders, including June, founder of Maison KEEPS; Junior, founder of Firefly Group; Sharp, founder of The Food Selection Group; Thoy, founder of SOS; Sai, founder of Bitch With Brain; Russ, founder of KARUN; and Fern, founder of ATIPA. Each shared lessons drawn from building their own businesses, offering participants a window into both the professional and entrepreneurial paths.

Highlight Session: "Corporate vs Entrepreneur" — Two Paths for the Next Generation

At the heart of Aura Career Camp was an upskilling session themed "Corporate vs Entrepreneur," designed to give young people a clear view of two distinct paths to success: building a business of one's own, or growing a career within a strong organisation. Drawing on the real experiences of modern brand owners and executives, the session was divided into three parts:

  • Grown in Corporate — charting the journey from first jobber to future leader, led by Aura Wellness executives and senior professionals currently working in the corporate track.
  • Corporate Life to Entrepreneur — exploring the turning point from a corporate career to building a modern Thai brand capable of competing with major players.
  • Building Business from Scratch — unpacking how to build a business from zero, led by founders of fast-growing modern brands.

The camp was designed to offer a well-rounded, hands-on experience, including panel talks; workshops on branding, marketing, AI for business and business feasibility led by CMO Bream and senior management; company visits; live business case-cracking sessions; and networking opportunities. A standout feature was one-on-one resume reviews and mock interviews conducted by senior professionals from the corporate track who now work as consultants at MBB and other top-tier global consulting firms, helping prepare students and recent graduates for the real job market.

Thai Aesthetics as a Career Path: Where Aura Wellness Comes In

If Aura Career Camp reframes how young Thais think about their futures, Aura Bangkok Clinic — part of the Aura Wellness platform — shows them one of those futures made real. Thai aesthetics has become one of the country’s fastest-emerging professional fields, and with it a genuine, growing career path: a new source of hope for the next-generation workforce. Rather than a route that pulls talent overseas, it is one that invites young people to build expertise, and a career, at home.

Aura Wellness offers the next generation real hands-on learning, structured skill development, and a clear path to grow within the beauty and wellness professions — from clinical and technical craft to brand, operations, and leadership. It is a concrete illustration of the camp’s wider thesis: that meaningful careers, and the mentorship to build them, already exist in Thailand for those willing to invest in young people.

Investing in Young People: The Foundation of Long-Term Growth

Aura Career Camp is underpinned by a single belief: if Thai businesses treat young people as a long-term investment rather than a short-term cost, Thailand can retain its best talent and ease the pressure of brain drain. Under the concept “Investing in the Next Generation,” Aura Wellness aims to stand as an example of a Thai organization committed to investing in young people concretely — building a strong talent pipeline, elevating the country’s workforce, and adding lasting momentum to Thailand’s long-term growth.
