Chevron Thailand president receives Exemplary Businesspersons of the Year 2026

Chatit Huayhongtong, president of Chevron Thailand Exploration and Production, Ltd., received the Exemplary Businesspersons of the Year 2026 award in the energy and infrastructure category at a ceremony organized by the Foundation of Science and Technology Council of Thailand (FSTT). The award recognizes Chatit’s leadership in Thailand’s energy industry and his focus on advancing safe, reliable energy production. Under his leadership, Chevron Thailand continues to integrate technology into its operations, strengthen workforce capabilities and contribute to society. Key initiatives include the total wellhead platform reuse project and deployment of the Uniwise Commander vessel to transport offshore personnel. These efforts help improve operational efficiency and safety while supporting Thailand’s energy security.

The Exemplary Businesspersons of the Year 2026 award is part of the Quality Persons of the Year awards, which honor individuals who have achieved success in their personal and professional lives and made meaningful contributions to society. The awards recognize people across a range of fields who creatively apply their knowledge, capabilities and experience in their work, serve as role models, create value and contribute to the development of Thai society and the country. The awards are organized by the Foundation of Science and Technology Council of Thailand (FSTT) on the occasion of its 18th anniversary, which coincides with Thailand Technology Day.
