The upcountry projects are in Hua Hin, Chiang Mai, and Nakhon Ratchasima’s Khao Yai area.
Up to Bt1.5 billion of the presale target will come from the three provincial projects, and Bt500 million of that will be booked as revenue this year, said chief business development officer Wongsakorn Prasitvipat.
He said the demand for homes in upcountry tourist destinations had recovered in the first quarter of this year, so the company was responding with new projects outside Bangkok, especially in Hua Hin.
Property Perfect’s Bella Costa condominium in Hua Hin has sold Bt350 million of the total project value Bt1.67 billion, 10 per cent to foreign buyers.
Next year, the company plans to launch more projects in the provinces, focusing on the Eastern region and Chiang Mai, Wongsakorn said.
Suphin Mechuchep, managing director of Jones Lang LaSalle (Thailand), said demand for homes had improved nationwide in the first quarter.
