The Finance Ministry’s Fiscal Policy Office (FPO) said it has suspended 2,000 shops for violating the conditions of the RaoChana (We Win) stimulus scheme. The shops may also be required to refund the money they earned through the subsidy.

The Government Savings Bank (GSB) and the Bank of Agriculture and Agricultural Cooperatives (BAAC) have joined Krungthai Bank in providing a registration service until March 5 for eligible candidates who want to avail of the government’s cash handout “RaoChana” (WeWin) campaign but do not own a smartphone, government deputy spokeswoman Ratchada Thanadirek wrote on her Facebook page on Wednesday.

Krungthai Bank said on Monday that it had extended the registration period for the government’s cash handout campaign “RaoChana” (We Win) for people who do not own a smartphone to March 5 from the original deadline of February 25.
