The Ban Nam Khem Tsunami Museum in Phang-nga’s Takua Pa district, which was constructed to commemorate the Indian Ocean earthquake and tsunami on December 26, 2014, will be opened on Friday, the Culture Ministry said on Thursday.

Another death that occurred in detention has been revealed at Takua Pa Prison in Phang Nga province after a male inmate was beaten to death last Saturday, the same day as an Army private was killed at a military camp in Surat Thani.
