Authorities raided an unlicensed school on Koh Phangan, arresting nine people after finding nearly 100 children, most of them Israeli, at a site licensed for just 18 toddlers.

Residents of Nong Bua Lamphu province on Friday attended a religious ceremony at the daycare centre of Uthai Sawan Tambon Administration Organisation to commemorate the first anniversary of the attack at the nursery and nearby areas that resulted in 38 deaths, including the perpetrator, and 12 injuries.
