The Meteorological Department has issued warnings of heavy rain and flash floods for 35 provinces across the central, eastern and southern regions including Bangkok for today (November 8).

High-pressure systems and air masses covering northern Thailand and the South China Sea are weakening, causing morning fog in these areas. Meanwhile, easterly winds covering the eastern region, the Gulf of Thailand, and the southern region are strengthening.

The winds are however lighter in the Gulf of Thailand and the Andaman Sea stirring up waves of less than 1 metre, higher in areas with thunderstorms. Small vessels are advised to navigate with caution.

From mid-November, the weather should be cooler, but still humid in the northern, northeastern,  central, eastern regions and Bangkok,

Meanwhile, the southern region can expect heavy rain and strong winds which is expected to increase from November 10 onwards.
