Foreign Ministry confirms six more Thais released in Israel this week

The Foreign Ministry has confirmed that another six Thai nationals were released from the Gaza Strip on Tuesday and Wednesday, bringing the total number of Thais freed to 23.
The newly freed Thais have been taken to the Shamir Medical Center for medical checkups, while Royal Thai Embassy staff are contacting their families.
The Foreign Ministry said nine Thais remain captive in Gaza.
The ministry congratulated all parties involved in the mission to release Thai hostages, adding that efforts to free the nine remaining Thais would continue.
It said the Thai government would repatriate those already released after their medical checkups.
