The two Thai men, Phattanayut Tonsokri and Owas Suriyasri, were welcomed by Foreign Minister Parnpree Bahiddha-Nukara and 17 Thais who were released earlier and are now undergoing medical monitoring at the hospital.
Parnpree said the two released Thais are not harmed and will undergo medical check-ups as per protocol before being brought back home.
He said the ministry and the government would continue to facilitate the repatriation of Thai workers released by Hamas, as well as coordinate with related parties for the release of the remaining Thais still being held captive as soon as possible. Their number is estimated at 15.
On November 24, Hamas released the first group of 10 Thai hostages under a ceasefire deal with Israel. Under the terms of the truce, some Palestinians will be freed from detention in Israel while Hamas will release people it has taken hostage.
