Krungsri appoints new head of Global Markets Group
Krungsri (Bank of Ayudhya Plc) has appointed Kenichi Nishii as head of its Global Markets Group, following the retirement of Tak Bunnag, effective from January 1.
Nishii has experience and expertise in the areas of foreign exchange, treasury, investment and global markets, said the bank. Before joining Krungsri, he served as head of Global Markets Asia & Oceania and Treasurer at MUFG Bank (Singapore). With his broad vision, global perspective and international work experiences together with his competency in leveraging strong global network of MUFG Bank, Krungsri said it was confident he will lead its global markets business to “considerable and sustainable success”.
Nishii holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Keio University, Japan and has over 26 years of experience at Mitsubishi Bank and MUFG Bank with international exposure in the US, UK and Singapore.
