Police, Navy troops and Interior Ministry officials raided a house in Chanthaburi's Na Yai Ai district early on Monday and arrested a couple after finding 106,200 meth pills.

The operation was carried out following tip-offs that the house was used to store drugs for distributing in the neighbourhood.

Nattawat Boonthook, 23, and his wife (name withheld) were arrested.

Apart from the meth pills, the officials also found 4 grams of crystal meth, a .38 revolver and nine rounds of ammunition.
