With immediate effect, new executive vice presidents are Wasin Saiyawan as Head of the Financial Markets Division, Arak Sutivong as Head of the Business Strategy and Development Division, Pimolpa Suntichok as Head of the Capital Markets Division, Sirote Vichayabhai as Head of Corporate Banking Division 2, Vorada Thangsurbkul as Head of Investment Banking Coverage 2, Kiradit Arromdee as Head of Credit Risk Management, and Worawat Suvagondha as Head of Human Resources Strategy & Policy.
Wasin Saiyawan, Head of the Financial Markets Division, is an expert in treasury sales and financial markets. He led the team in achieving outstanding performance as evidenced by the Best Exchange Rate Contributor in the Thomson Reuters FX Awards 2011. Wasin first joined SCB in 1997 as an FX dealer at the Treasury Department and gained experience in interbank dealing. He then moved to Standard Chartered Bank (Thailand) in 1999, where he was in charge of FX sales and financial markets on a regional scale. Wasin returned to SCB in 2009 as a senior vice president in charge of treasury sales at the Financial Markets Division. He holds an MBA in Management from New Hampshire College and a Bachelor's Degree in Economics from the University of Kansas, USA.
Arak Sutivong, Head of the Business Strategy and Development Division, is in charge of business strategy and development for the Bank's wholesale banking. He joined SCB in 2010 as the Head of Global Markets and Transaction Services (GMTS) - Business Strategy and Development. His experience in the past 14 years includes finance and engineering. Before joining SCB, he was an engineer at Qualcomm Incorporated, USA, a technical expert at True Corporation Plc, and an Engagement Manager at McKinsey & Company, respectively. Arak holds a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University and a Master of Science and Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University, USA.
Pimolpa Suntichok, Head of the Capital Markets Division, is in charge of fund raising through a variety of capital market products, including project finance, structured finance, syndicated loans, and debt capital markets (DCM). She joined SCB in 2008 as a Structured Finance Manager for the Capital Markets Division. Pimolpa is an expert in finance and capital markets and has led outstanding performances through several financial projects both at home and abroad, with 12 years of experience at Jardine Fleming Thanakom Securities Ltd., Fitch Ratings (Thailand) Ltd., and Standard Chartered Bank (Thailand), respectively. She holds an MBA from Eastern Michigan University, USA and a Bachelor of Science in Statistics from Chulalongkorn University.
Sirote Vichayabhai, Head of Corporate Banking Division 2, is responsible for corporate relationship management and financial and investment advisory service for corporate clients in the metal, energy, and property sectors. He joined SCB in 2010 as Project Finance Manager and moved to wholesale banking functions as a Relationship Manager before being promoted to his current position. Sirote is a financial expert with 14 years in leading financial institutions and corporations. His working experience included energy and infrastructure client coverage at Standard Chartered Bank (Thailand) and investor relations, and compliance & corporate affairs with the Glow Group. Sirote holds a Master of Science in International Securities Investment and Banking from the University of Reading and a Bachelor of Science in Economics from Queen Mary and Westfield College, University of London, UK.
Vorada Thangsurbkul, Head of Investment Banking Coverage 2, is in charge of investment banking advice and product development. She has 19 years of experience in finance and investment as an expert in private wealth and private equity management at leading financial institutions in Thailand and South East Asia. Vorada holds an MBA from Kenan-Flagler Business School, the University of North Carolina and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing from Thammasat University.
Kiradit Arromdee, Head of Credit Risk Management, is in charge of credit risk analysis and management. He joined SCB in 1988 as a credit officer and built experience in credit functions. He then moved to Corporate Analysis 1 to hone experience in credit risk analysis and management until present. Kiradit holds an MBA from Georgia State University, USA and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from Chulalongkorn University.
Worawat Suvagondha, Head of Human Resources Strategy & Policy, is in charge of HR strategy and policy covering recruitment, management, and development, which are key to the Bank's drive to attain business growth and success targets. He is an expert on financial and capital markets, with more than 16 years management experience in investment banking and financial advisory services to both the public and private sectors. Worawat holds an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management, Northwestern University, USA and a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration (Finance and Banking) from Chulalongkorn University.
