Mutual Fund Fair at Paradise Park

Over 1,000 mutual funds are on offer at Mutual Fund Fair@Paradise Park during September 15-18.
Hosted by the Stock Exchange of Thailand and the Association of Investment Management Companies, the fair will also feature seminars on stock investment.
A number of 1,178 funds are on offer, including 7 new funds.
Voravan Tarapoom, president of the AIMC, said that mutual funds have been increasingly popular. As of June 2011, outstanding number of investment accounts stood at 2.73 million, which was 260,000 higher than the number at the end of 2010. Most of new accounts were for equity and bond investment.
