Speculators sell
Concerns over the US and European debt problems prompted some net selling by foreign investors on the Thai bond market, but they were mostly short-term speculators on government bonds and the baht, according to the Thai Bond Market Association.

Deal for new city
Phnom Penh Municipality and the Overseas Cambodia Investment Corporation (OCIC) yesterday reached a US$1.6-billion (Bt48-billion) investment deal.
The agreement was signed by Phnom Penh Governor Kep Chuktema and Oknha Pong Khieu Se, chairman of OCIC.
The city governor said Cambodia would gain a new city in 15 years' time, a satellite-city project for 40,000 people. - Rasmei Kampuchea/ANN
