Joint bid to boost MICE industry ahead of AEC

The Thailand Convention and Exhibition Bureau and the Department of Trade Negotiations are joining forces to strengthen the MICE industry ahead of the implementation of the Asean Economic Community in 2015.
The TCEB and DTN signed a memorandum of understanding yesterday on preparing the competitiveness of Thai entrepreneurs so they can deal with the changes brought about by the AEC.
Seamless region-wide trade will directly affect the Thai meetings, incentives, conventions and exhibitions (MICE) industry, especially in the cost of service and the labour market, as foreign workers are expected to migrate here.
