CAT Telecom has set up an emergency centre at CAT Tower in Bang Rak and its telecom centre in Nonthaburi, to ensure business continuity.
Sompol Chanprasert, senior executive vice president of CAT Telecom, said that the company is now fixing the communications network at three industrial estates - Rojana, Hi-Tech and Saha Rattana Nakorn, and putting special emphasis on other risky areas in Ayutthaya and Pathum Thani.
It also assured that the international communications network is supported by backup routing to avoid impacts from natural disasters and other emergency causes.
