One of the measures is to deal with the water drainage from 7 inundated industrial estates, said Industry Minister Wannarat Charnnukul.
The others will involve the examination of soil and water quality in these industrial estates, the management of environment and safety measures in the estates, and the provision of relief centres for affected manufacturing plants.
He said the ministry was in a rush in mobilising more water pumps, with help from the Federation of Thai Industries, to improve the protection of Bangchan Industrial Estate and Latkrabang Industrial Estate.
