Late earning submission for 74 firms

The Stock Exchange of Thailand has allowed 74 listed companies, accounting for 13 per cent of total, to delay the submission of their quarterly financial results.

While 69 companies propose to submit the results by Nov 30, the other 5 within Dec 15.
They are usually required to submit the audited results within 45 days after the quarter ends, or by Nov 14.
"The exchange and the Securities and Exchange Commission agreed that we should relax the rule for floods-affected companies," said SET President Charamporn Jotikasthira.
