Reorganised First Logic expects Bt1 bn revenue

After reorganising its business model, First Logic expects that its revenue this year will hit Bt1 billion.

Trairat Chaismran, general manager of First Logic, a company under the umbrella of G-ABLE Group, said it had changed its role from system integrator to a distributor of products and services via business partners. Meanwhile, it slashed its staff from 150 to about 70 to focus its human resources on the distribution channel. The staff who left First Logic were reallocated in other companies in the G-ABLE Group, a provider of information-technology services.
In its redefined role as a distributor, First Logic provides Oracle products and software including Oracle Database, Oracle Fusion Middleware and Oracle server and storage systems. It also acts as a Symantec Gold partner, providing Symantec’s data protection and storage management to its business partners.
First Logic now has about 20 system integrators to provide products and services to end customers.
“We have a mission to support our system integrators with both presale and after-sale services so they are able to provide high-qual?ity service and products to their customers,” Trairat said.
He added that the firm this year expected to generate revenue of about Bt1 billion. As for its direction next year, First Logic will look to provide new products, targeting revenue growth of about 20 per cent in 2012.
