BBL offers yuan transfer service for individuals
Bangkok Bank becomes the first Thai bank winning the Bank of China's approval for the transfer of yuan to China for individuals.
The service will help eliminate complex procedures and reduce risks from currency fluctuations. The maximum transfer per day is 80,000 CNY (approximately Bt400,000) per person.
The agreement was signed recently by Bangkok Bank President Chartsiri Sophonpanich and Bank of China General Manager Che Jun.
