Japan's train study delivered to Thailand

The Japanese government has submitted the pre-feasibility study of two high-speed train projects to the Thai government.

The study covered two routes - from Bangkok to Chiang Mai and Bangkok to Rayong.
Thailand expressed the interest in adopting Chinese or Japanese technology for its high-speed train projects, during Prime Minsiter Yingluck Shinawatra's visits to both countries.
Japanese Ambassador and an expert from Japan Railway Technical Service delivered the study to Transport Minister Jarupong Ruangsuwan on May 3.
