TLOGIS to raise funds

Tpark Logistics Property Fund (TLOGIS)'s unit holders on July 9 will be called to vote on the planned Bt2.25 billion capital increase, paving way for more acquisition of warehouses to cope with higher demand.
Soottipong Puapanprasert, an executive of Bualuang Asset Management which manages the fund, expects overwhelming interest for the new unit trusts, given TLOGIS's growth story and consistent dividend payment. In 2011, dividend payment reached Bt0.75, followed by Bt0.215 per unit in the first quarter.
"The proceeds will be used to buy more land and warehouses in different locations of Ticon Logistics Park - Eastern Seaboad, Laem Chabang, Bangna, Wang Noi and Rojana. This will increase rents and diversify the fund's investment into other areas," he said.
