The 7-year bonds will quote rates of 4.10 per cent in the first four years and 5.10 per cent in the subsequent years. They will be sold to existing bondholders as part of the company's "Loyalty Programme" through five banks - Bangkok Bank, Krungthai Bank, Kasikornbank, Siam Commercial Bank and Thanachart Bank.
CEO Surong Bulakul said that the bonds would be offered during July 24-25 to the holders of bonds to mature in July. On July 27, the bonds would be sold to the holders of other bond issues on the first-come, first-serve basis.
PTT's bonds are a long-term investment alternative and the company demonstrates solid financial positions, Surong said.
The bonds are assigned "AAA" rating by Fitch Ratings (Thailand) Co Ltd.
