RATCHABURI ELECTRICITY GENERATING HOLDING's subsidiary Songkhla Biomass Co has signed a non-firm power purchase agreement for a very small power producer with the Provincial Electricity Authority.
The PPA is effective for 25 years after the Songkhla biomass plant’s commercial operation date, scheduled for 2014.
ELECTRICITY GENERATING’s net profit in the second quarter of this year surged to Bt6.27 billion from Bt1.75 billion in the same quarter last year.
