At NMG booths in M15 Zone C on the first floor, every purchase of Bt400 earns you a chance to enter a draw for a Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 (10 prizes in total), iPhone 5 (three prizes) or a trip for two people to South Korea for five days and three nights (three prizes). Every Bt800 purchase earns buyers a Korean-made Canimals bag, and every purchase worth Bt1,500 comes with a Canimals shirt in white and grey.
Nation Books titles being launched include “The Design of Magic” by Ratthaphoom Wuthijamnong, the only Thai designer on Apple’s product-design team. The launch is tomorrow from 2 to 3pm in the Atrium Arena, with NMG chairman Suthichai Yoon as the guest speaker. Suthichai will also take part in a session on Saturday from 5 to 6pm to launch NMG newscaster Kanok Ratwongsakul’s book “Kanok Tok Khao”.
Kanok will be featured in the talk show “Talk-Ka-Tive” from 6 to 7pm with NMG columnist Nanthakhwang Sirasunthorn and newscaster Theera Thanyaphaibool.
Krungthep Turakij publishing house is introducing a line of business how-to books while Nextbook@NBC printing house launched a book yesterday, “Perd Na Khui” by Noppatjak Attanont, on his experiences as a field reporter.
Another book, “On the News Battlefield, We are the Pros”, marking the 12th year of the 24-hour Nation Channel, will be launched on October 24 from 7 to 8pm.
NMG’s NED publishing house will launch new foreign cartoon pocketbooks – “Blue Exorcist”, “Slam Dunk Bigbook” and the Thai-produced “Khampee Awatan” (“Scripture of Reincarnation”).
Another event, “100 Years Before the Birth of Doraemon”, will be held on October 27 from 2pm to 3pm to celebrate the centenary of the popular Japanese cartoon character. Nation Egmont will launch the bilingual “Disney Princess” series of “Five-Minute Princess Bedtime Stories”, and a
six-book series “Birdland: Following the Footsteps of the King”.
