Facebook users urged to join princess project to send good wish to elderly

"Princess Sirindhorn's Spectacles for the Elderly" Project opens Facebook activity entitled "Welcome back the sight"
Top Charoen Optical has invited Facebook users to send best wishes to the elderly nationwide who have received new spectacles through its project under the patronage of Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn.
Under the “Princess Sirindhorn’s Spectacles for the Elderly” Project, Top Charoen Optical has organized field trips to deliver eye test and spectacles making services by the company’s team of experts in remote areas in 50 locations throughout Thailand. Top Charoen Optical has also donated over 20,000 spectacles for senior citizens, who have eyesight problem.
Now, it is inviting Thais to participate in the “Welcome back the sight” activity via its Facebook page. Visitors to the page can express their goodwill and send best wishes to the elderly nationwide who have received new spectacles through the project. The best wish sending also marks the yearend holiday seasons.
The wish sending activity will last until December 31, 2012 and 400 most impressive wishing notes will be selected and included in the project’s eye inspection platform structure used for the future field trips.
