Managing director Somboon Cheewasutthanon said in a news release yesterday that the proceeds of the public offering would be used to build a new office, studio and warehouse on 50 rai (8 hectares) of land. The Bt700-million project will start construction next year and be completed by 2014 or 2015.
Part of the proceeds will be used as working capital for its expansion to capitalise on the Asean Economic Community when it goes into effect in 2015, he said.
"Now that our shareholders approved the plan, we will apply to the Securities and Exchange Commission in January to raise capital from the market and expand our investment next year," he said.
The offering price will be fixed in February or March.
Its stock trades between Bt5.50 and Bt5.75 per share.
The new capital will increase both its stock’s free float – from 11.5 per cent to 50 per cent – and its market capitalisation, which will serve demand from foreign investors.
The company’s financial results next year will be better than this year when the company had to spend Bt15 million on buying lighting equipment to support its expansion next year, Somboon said.
It earned Bt47.85 million on revenue of Bt459.54 million in the first nine months of this year, he added.
