“In the digital age, 3G technology is going to boost the strengths of radio,” NMG chairman Suthichai Yoon said. “We are entering the Nation Digital Voice via all digital audio platforms.”
NMG’s Nation Radio (FM90.5) and Working Station (FM102) will get new programmes from early next month, and social media will also be used to reach out to these audiences.
Starting from tomorrow, new programmes will pack the stations’ schedule with fresh, interesting and quality content.
Suthichai will co-host “Jab Cheepajorn Loke” (Feel the World’s Pulse) programme alongside NMG editor-in-chief Thepchai Yong on Nation Radio. To be broadcast from 9.30am to 10am and also from 6.30pm and 7pm between Monday and Friday, the programme offers in-depth analyses of interesting news or stories in Thailand and beyond.
The Working Station will also bring in professional newsmen to its weekend schedule. Together, the newsmen will host four new programmes. Among them is “Phasa Angkrit Kab Nation” (English Language with Nation), which will be hosted by Thepchai and his team between 9pm and 10pm every Saturday.
