TRIS Rating has affirmed the company and senior debenture ratings of Betagro at “A” with “stable” outlook.
The ratings reflect the company’s proven record in the Thai agribusiness and food industries, its full vertical integration across diverse product lines, and its growth strategy, which emphasises value-added products and strategic partnerships, TRIS said.
The ratings also take into consideration the inherent cyclicality of commodity-type products, exposure to disease outbreaks, the uncertainty of weather conditions, and changes in tariffs imposed by importing countries.
TRIS rates SC Asset debentures
TRIS Rating has assigned the rating of “BBB” to the proposed issue of up to Bt800 million in senior debentures of SC Asset Corporation.
At the same time, TRIS Rating has affirmed the company rating of SC at “BBB+” and has affirmed the existing rating of SC’s senior debentures at “BBB”. The outlook remains “stable”.
The proceeds from the new debentures will be used for project development. The ratings reflect SC’s acceptable track record in the middle-to-high-end segments of the residential property market, the reliable cash-flow stream from its rental property business, and the expected continuing growth in its revenue.
FedEx launches Quick |Form
FedEx Express, a subsidiary of FedEx Corp and one of the world’s largest express transport companies, has introduced FedEx Quick Form in 10 Asia-Pacific markets – Australia, mainland China, Hong Kong, Japan, South Korea, Malaysia, Singapore, Taiwan, Thailand and Vietnam – providing customers with greater convenience when processing shipments.
FedEx says its Quick Form is an easy-to-master online tool that allows customers to generate a shipping label in just a few clicks. Customers can save previous shipping information as a profile for subsequent shipments, speeding up repetitive air-waybill preparation. Compared with handwritten air waybills, FedEx Quick Form improves accuracy and efficiency of data entry, the company says.
“With our culture of technological innovation, FedEx continues to deliver significant business value to our customers, especially to small to medium-sized enterprises, which make up 90 per cent of businesses in Asia,” said David Cunningham, president for Asia-Pacific of FedEx Express.
