Temple verdict should have limited impacts on business: Isara

The International Court of Justice's verdict on the Preah Viharn case should not have an impact on Thailand's trade and investment, said Isara Vongkusolkit, chairman to the Board of Trade of Thailand.

Though, he said the verdict would largely have an impact on public sentiment.
He said that in whatever circumstances, the Thai government is bound to protect the sovereignty.
He also hoped that the ruling would not create conflicts in the country. Impacts on the cross border trade between Thailand and Cambodia should also be brief, he said.
