Broaden investment opportunities in Thai capital market at SET in the City

As for the next seven years, the government’s investments in this infra?structure mega-project are expected to bolster the economy and highlight the country’s strategic position in the region. With the sustained strength of its listed companies and being one of the central regional connecting points in Asia’s fastest-growing area, Thailand should still be an investment destination.

“SET in the City”, a large annual investment fair organised by the Stock Exchange of Thailand for nine consecutive years, will this week showcase more than 90 exhibition booths. Investors will be invited to explore, discover, update, expand and broaden their opportunities in Thailand. As well, the fair provides access to investment products as well as knowledge sharing by renowned speakers on the Thai capital market. 

Investors will enjoy unlimited wealth management and financial consultation services and planning from commercial banks, securities companies, listed companies, asset-management companies and government agencies over a period of four days. 

 

SET in the City highlights

n Explore new investment opportunities with many investment choices covering all types of equities, derivatives, bonds, mutual funds and insurance products. 

n Two seminar stages in Hall 1 and Hall 2 of Royal Paragon Hall will feature more than 80 seminars and workshops carried out by foremost speakers in the Thai capital market. Investors’ perspectives will be widened and coaching provided throughout the four days of the events as well as a “technical room” where technical graph analysis will be shared with advanced investors. 

n Visit the SET booth for a free “Stock Best Pick Menu”, which will highlight the most popular stocks, and pick up the 2014 edition of the book “9 Gurus See Through Investment Trends”, which will be available while stocks last.

n At “Money Management by Certified Finance Planners” all money-matter questions will be answered one-on-one by internationally certified financial advisers. 

n Collect “Your First TFEX”, a book for beginners who want to explore investment opportunities at the Thailand Futures Exchange booth. It includes basic information on how to invest in the derivatives market. “Derivative Guides”, with current market conditions and brokers’ underlying analysis for updated investment views, will also be distributed. At the TFEX booth, visitors will enjoy learning the graph-reading techniques and risk-management strategies demonstrated by TFEX professionals during the four days of the show. 

n “Stock Mart” is a showcase of Thai listed companies’ products. Those who invest in SET in the City 2013 will get one free gift from the Stock Mart plus a company profile of the product selected.
