“This exploding market will receive a further boost following the introduction of a tourism master plan by the Ministry of Tourism and Sports, with 28 infrastructure projects approved or in the pipeline and many more on-ground opportunities to discover,” she said.
 ASIA-PACIFIC BUSINESS FORUM
AT UN CONFERENCE CENTRE
The United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific will hold its 10th Asia-Pacific Business Forum at the United Nations Conference Centre in Bangkok on Monday and Tuesday.
The forum is the first and only regional multi-stakeholder business forum organised by Escap and acts as a platform for regional public-private sector dialogue on the role and needs of business in achieving inclusive and sustainable development in the region.
This year’s event focuses on connecting the Pacific with Asia. Government leaders, including heads of state, and top business executives from across the region are expected to participate in this year’s 10th anniversary event.
With engaging and action-oriented dialogues, forum participants will actively shape and influence the policy and business environment in the Asia-Pacific region by formulating their own strategies and policy recommendations, which are in turn presented to the policymakers.
