In the filing to the Stock Exchange of Thailand, the construction company said that on December 13 the contract was signed with the Ministry of Transport and Communications, the Government of the Republic of Mozambique, for the construction of a rail line and a deep sea port.
The 530-km rail line will run from Moatize to Macuse, while the deep sea port at Macuse (which will be operated by ITD) is designed with the annual capacity of 25 million tonnes.
