World's first time-based discount app

Michael Cluzel, group chief executive officer of Eatigo (Thailand), said that the firm had launched the world’s first platform that will enable more than 100 restaurants in Bangkok to increase their profitability via time-based discount of 10-50 per cent on a daily basis, especially during the off-peak period. 

The application is available on www.eatigo.com and customers can also download it via iOS and Android mobile application environments. He said customers who want to utilise the restaurant discount could reach the service via smartphones based on iOS and Android, website and mobile website. 

“I think our mobile application and website will help increase revenue for restaurants and create benefits for customers who want to save money to hang out at popular restaurants. Customers will not need to print out coupons to get the special offer from the restaurant. Instead, they will get an SMS and an e-mail to confirm from the popular restaurant after they access the service to get the special discount price via eatigo mobile application, website and mobile website. 

There are now more than 100 popular restaurants in Bangkok participating in the service.
