37 NGV stations affected by Phu Horm maintenance

Thirty seven NGV stations in 12 Northeastern provinces will be affected by the shutdown of Phu Horm gas field in Udon Thani for maintenance, said PTT.

PTT Senior Executive Vice President Chakree Buranakanon said that the maintenance during September 8-12 forced PTT to cut off the supply from its master station in Namphong district in Khon Kaen.
The stations affected are fed with 800 tonnes of NGV per day.
Chakree said that gas would be transported by truck from Saraburi and Samut Prakan to the affected stations during the period. The road transportation may cause inconvenience to consumers, he said. On August 27-28, PTT had a meeting with transport bus operators, fuel station operators as well as related government offices.
"We have to apologise to all users... Once the maintenance is complete, gas transmission will be back to normal from September 13 onwards," he said.
