After a meeting for the second day today, NBTC commissioner Natee Sukonrat said that the Office of NBTC would ask the NCPO for clarity.
Under the NBTC's digital TV rules and regulations, no channel can continue airing analog programmes via satellite and cable platforms after midnight of September 1. Channel 3's programming continues, though, thanks to the NCPO's order No. 27 dated May 24 which allowed normal operations to all concessioned channels.
Natee said that representatives of Bnagkok Entertainment, the operator of Channel 3, would also be invited for further discussion.
"We're not sure on the guidelines. For now, Channel 3's broadcasting continues as usual," Natee said.
