With an investment budget of Bt3 billion, KE Group has partnered with SB Furniture to develop a new shopping mall, The Crystal SB Ratchapruek, to open on December 1.
The project brings together three major firms, The Mall Group, SF Cinema, and Fitness First.
The Crystal SB Ratchapruek will primarily serve residents in the Ratchaphruek, Pinklao, Rattanathibet, and Bang Bua Thong areas, with a total population of 1.4 million in more than 500,000 households, said Kaveepan Eiamsakulrat, managing director of KE Group.
New herbal beverage
Respect One Beverage Co introduced a herbal drink called Kek Lao this month as it targets revenue of Bt300 million to Bt500 million next year.
Managing director Sorraksit Lathitham said the company had seen more people becoming concerned about their health, and so decided to launch this herbal drink.
It will be mainly marketed in Thailand and elsewhere in Asean, especially Cambodia, Laos, Vietnam and Myanmar.
At present, the health-drink market is valued at Bt5 billion and shows signs of growing by an average of 25 per cent a year.
This challenged Respect One to launch a herbal product in order to take a share of this market, Sorraksit said.
Laundry detergents promoted
Equator Pure Nature Co has set aside a marketing budget of Bt50 million to promote its Pipper Standard liquid laundry detergents and fabric softeners from now and into next year, targeting total sales of Bt150 million in 2015.
The company’s chairman and CEO Peter Wainman said they were launched in Thailand and overseas this quarter to cater to strong demand for such products.
In Thailand, the laundry-care market is valued at Bt30 billion a year. Equator Pure Nature targets a market share of 1-3 per cent next year, he said.
