MoneyGuru website offers comparisons of products

Launched by MoneyGuru Co last month, MoneyGuru.co.th provides consumers with up-to-date and accurate information on the best offers for insurance, credit cards and personal loans, the company says.

“We are excited to launch Thailand’s first comprehensive financial-services comparison site, allowing Thais to save up to Bt5,000 per year on motor insurance,” managing director and country manager Katherine Aphaivongs said.

MoneyGuru.co.th currently offers motor-insurance packages and is expanding to include other types of insurance such as health and personal accident coverage, as well as credit cards, personal loans, and other financial products and services.

Katherine noted that price-comparison websites were already successful in Britain and the United States, and were becoming increasingly popular in other parts of the world, especially in Asia. Hong Kong, Taiwan, Malaysia and Indonesia have embraced the simplicity and convenience of buying financial products online, and Thailand is following suit.
