KBank, KTB to arrange Ch Kanchang's Issue

Subscriptions will open to retail and institutional investors next month for Ch Karnchang's five-year-and-11-month debentures worth up to Bt4 billion at branches of Kasikornbank (KBank) and Krungthai Bank (KTB)

Panop Ansusinha, head of investment banking at KBank, said yesterday that the unsubordinated and unsecured debentures will pay interest quarterly. The issuer has the right of early redemption. The minimum subscription is Bt100,000.
Prasert Marittanaporn, director and senior executive vice president for administration at Ch Karnchang, said the company is now arranging for the debenture issuance worth up to Bt3 billion, with additional debentures of up to Bt1 billion on offer.
The company will likely set the coupon rate this month. It expects a credit rating of “BBB+” with a “positive” outlook from TRIS Rating for its |debentures, reflecting its decent operating performance and financial flexibility.
Given appropriate returns on the company’s debentures in the past, this issue should attract many investors like before, he said.
Ch Karnchang is a top construction company with more than 40-years of experience in massive infrastructure projects, such as expressways, electric railway systems, water supply and power generation systems, which guarantee stable and steady income growth.
