I approved Areepong's transfer: Pridiyathorn
MR Pridiyathorn Devakula, the deputy prime minister on economic affairs, said Wednesday that he approved the transfer of Areepong Bhoocha-oom from the Energy Ministry to the Office of Public Sector Development Commission.
Areepong, the energy permanent secretary, will become the secretary general of the commission - a unit under the PM's Office.
Pridiyathorn said that the transfer was a request by the commission and he approved it.
He also noted that Areepong's capability fits both titles, as a former secretary general of the commission. There was no opposition from the Energy Ministry either, he said.
Asked if there would be a reshuffle among economic minister positions, he said no.
