SET launches integration resources online

THE Stock Exchange of Thailand, in line with the government's goal of a "digital economy", has unveiled integrated online resources via its website as well as new applications for smartphones and tablets to reach more investors.

SET executive vice president Santi Kiranand said one of the bourse’s main key strategies towards its fifth decade of operations was to implement a superb and unique digital exchange strategy. One such strategy is to boost its efficiency and reach a vast number of investors.
Meanwhile, the SET has launched a new website (www.set.or.th) with fully integrated online resources for investors. The new website features a modern design and is compatible with all current smartphones and tablets on any operating system or platform.
The SET has also introduced a new “investor classroom” featuring online resources for potential investors with more than 3,000 video clips as well as sections on post-trade services managed by the Thailand Securities and Depository as well as the Thai Clearing House. This newly integrated website provides a convenient one-stop service for all investors, the SET says.
In addition to the new website, the bourse has also launched a “SET application”, which can also run on iOS and Android devices.
Investors can access information on listed companies and watch video sessions with those companies from the “Opportunity Day” events where firms meet and interact with analysts and investors.
