It recommends buying stocks at 1,450 and selling at 1,550.
Chadchart Mekmasin, director of securities analysis, said yesterday that the market situation of the Stock Exchange of Thailand will be extremely shaky due to both domestic and international factors.
However, the situation seems to be heading for a recovery in the second half of the month.
The factors to closely follow are the interest reduction policy announcement on Wednesday and Opec’s meeting today.
If Opec decides to cut production, the oil price will increase dramatically and have a positive effect on the prices of stocks in the energy sector as well as the SET Index.
Also today, the US will disclose the non-agricultural employment rate. If it is worse than expected, it will positively affect sentiment, causing the market forecast for the increase in the Fed funds rate to be likely postponed.
