Amid the heat, humidity and high temperatures of Bangkok, the newly opened Snow Town themed park attracts local and foreign tourists to escape from the hot weather and to experience the cold climate with snow activities like snow sledding and snowball fig
According to its official Facebook page, 1,591 people have been at the place, located on the fifth floor of Gateway Ekamail shopping complex. The page has attracted over 11,000 likes.
Some environmentalists have criticised the venue, concerned with the huge electricity to produce the snow.
There is no snow in Thailand. Many Thais have bought trips to see snow, mostly in South Korea and Japan.
